Schedule of maintenance

From the moment you start performing preventative maintenance correctly, unforeseen failures tend to drop to near zero, allowing you to enjoy your boat without the hassle or unexpected expenses.

With our system you will no longer worry about the maintenance and care of your boat. The program includes inspections and periodic maintenance services, as well as the repair of any failure that occurs*.

  1. Engines and Transmission:

    • Biweekly inspection of oil and coolant levels.

    • Biweekly visual inspection in search of leaking, condition of straps and clamps.

    • Galvanic zinc changes according to manufacturer's specifications (we recommend it every six months).

    • Ignition of the engine for a period of 10 min every two weeks, to avoid the formation of humidity and internal corrosion.

    • Biweekly inspection of the engine strainer and cleaning when necessary.

    • Maintenance and changes of oil and filters according to manufacturer's specifications.

    • Biweekly review of oil diapers and change them when necessary, including inspection of why they are dirty.

    • Bi-weekly inspection of Racor filters and engine water drain if necessary.

  2. Generator:

    • Biweekly inspection of oil and coolant levels.

    • Biweekly visual inspection in search of leaking, condition of straps and clamps.

    • Galvanic zinc changes according to manufacturer's specifications (we recommend it every six months).

    • Ignition of the generator for a period of 10 min every fortnight with load, to avoid the formation of humidity and internal corrosion.

    • Biweekly inspection of the strainer and cleaning when necessary.

    • Maintenance and changes of oil and filters according to manufacturer's specifications.

    • Biweekly review of oil diapers and change them when necessary, including inspection of why they are dirty.

    • Biweekly inspection of Racor filters and water drainage if necessary.

  3. Batteries and Battery chargers:

    • Biweekly inspection of batteries, battery chargers and connectors.

    • Annual cleaning of charger cooling systems.

  4. Navigation Systems:

    • Biweekly Inspection and operation test of the navigation equipment.

    • Semi-annual update of software and cartography.

    • Biweekly windlass inspection.

    • Biweekly inspection of bow thruster and back thruster.

    • Biweekly inspection of wiper blades.

  5. Electric Panel AC & DC:

    • Infrared monthly inspection of panel temperature levels.

    • Monthly test of AC & DC breakers.

    • Biweekly visual inspection of panel connections.

    • Semiannual Galvanic corrosion reference measure.

  6. Air Conditioning:

    • Monthly cleaning of air filters.

    • Biweekly cleaning of the water strainers.

    • Annual descaling of the air conditioning cooling system.

    • Biweekly inspection of air conditioning equipment.

    • Monthly placement of pan-treat tablets in the air conditioners

  7. Illumination System:

    • Biweekly inspection of internal and external lights.

    • Biweekly inspection of navigation lights.

  8. Grey and Black Water Systems:

    • Semi-annual cleaning of the sump tank.

    • Annual change of the black water tank vent filter.

    • Biweekly inspection of the gray and black water system.

    • Biweekly control of black water tank levels.

  9. Bilge:

    • Biweekly inspection of all bilge pumps that work manually and automatically.

    • Biweekly inspection of water level alarms.

    • Biweekly inspection of hoses and clamps, and electrical connections.

  10. Freshwater pump(s):

    • Biweekly leaking inspection.

    • Biweekly filling of tanks.

    • Biweekly inspection of freshwater pumps.

    • Monthly inspection of freshwater pump filters.

  11. Saltwater washdown pump(s):

    • Biweekly leaking inspection.

    • Biweekly inspection of saltwater pumps.

    • Monthly inspection of saltwater pump strainers.

  12. Tenders:

    • Biweekly inspection of engine oil levels.

    • Monthly performance test.

    • Change of spark plugs, oils, lower unit, impeller according to manufacturer's specifications.

    • Perform flush when used.

  13. General equipment:

    • Biweekly Ignition and test operation of all the appliances on the boat.

    • Monthly inspection and audit of the ship's security systems.

  14. Wash:

    • Biweekly exterior wash with soap waxed with nano ceramic and dried.

    • Biweekly general internal cleaning.

    • Monthly washing of sheets and after each trip on the boat.

    • Quarterly application of hydro sealant ceramic.

    • General polishing once a year.
